When Muhammad started researching snow day tools in 2022, he found the same problems everywhere: tools with outdated UX that forced users to enter a ZIP code they may not know, prediction models that only looked at snowfall totals and ignored the variables that actually drive closure decisions — ice accumulation, storm timing relative to bus hours, wind chill thresholds, and regional infrastructure differences.
